Also…properly clean the inside of the glass. Dirt helps fogging to accumulate…especially if you don’t have working AC but just fan.
Step alpha: use a cloth and wipe it…don't be lazy😄
Maybe even putting a damp rid on the car to suck up moisture

Why does step 4 matter?
My car wont let me do both A/C and heat
Hmmm I not sure I'm convinced.
The idea is to defog the window before the car warms up which takes time.
If the car us warmed up, we'll…. I donno.
All I know is when its rainy hot air makes the window fog up but cold air removes fog quickly. Maybe ac on with hot air is the key.
