- This is Wiffle ball. I've played it ever since I was a kid so I finally felt ready to play in the big leagues. Okay, I guess I still need more work. What? But The thing is,, now that I'm an engineer,, I have other tools at my disposal.
So I 3D Printed this ball with a slot to load this brass cylinder in place and then I harvested the geared mechanism from this kitchen timer so that when I wind it back, it's perfectly timed to eject the cylinder and redirect not only the trajectory of the ball, but also this batter's career. Yes. Which is all to say. It looks like their rule book might need an update.
